Mr. Manager is an analog signal conditioning stage with its own character. It's primarily designed for amp-less playing when you'd rather turn a knob than open a laptop, but also sits comfortably in front of you amp.

What it does

Amps and speakers shape signals in important ways: rolling off highs, shaping the mids, and rounding edges instead of flat clipping. Mr. Manager does the same job with no DAW in the loop and no overcooked amp emulations.

• PUSH Gain from clean to soft asymmetric clipping with substantial distortion
• BALANCE A tilt tone control voiced for a subtle presence peak
• CONTOUR A gentle low-mid scoop with adjustable depth
• FILTER Four voicings (or bypassed) of speaker-like high-frequency rolloff to kill harsh transients and fizz from drive pedals
  

Mr Manager does not try to emulate a particular tube circuit, tone stack, or amp, it just does what is needed to let clean or pedal tones come through when playing without an amp.

Record, rehearse, go direct
